This is an upper Queen Street stop, Queen Street being the main street of Auckland. Enjoy the shopping, or cross diagonally at the traffic lights for the Auckland Art Gallery and beautiful Albert Park. The Art Gallery is home to New Zealand’s largest art collection featuring over 15,000 local and international artworks, with with guided English language tours daily, and Mandarin language tours Thursday-Sunday.


The mighty Civic Theatre stands at the corner of Queen Street and Wellesley Street, Auckland, New Zealand. It is owned by the people of Auckland. Once the pride of the country's movie palaces, it is now part of The Edge entertainment complex. After a $45 million refurbishment it re-opened on the 70th Anniversary of its first performance, on December 20, 1999.
